By the time you read this, I’ll be starting on a long and slow journey to England. I feel the wonderful sense of a new beginning.

By the time you read this, it will have been a year of writing to you every week, wherever I am, however I feel, whatever I do. Time went so fast, I didn’t realize this was coming.

This community has been an incredible adventure, a lifeline for me. Together, we have created a new sort of friendship, something that people on the outside can not really understand - “But you’ve never met them?” - No I haven’t. And yet.

It’s been an incredible year for all of us. We’ve been pushed to the extremes of fear, of courage and of love. We’ve been forced to change, adapt and evolve. Through thick and thin, we grew together.

I shared so many of my stories with you, I listened and read yours. I often found myself saying - “Oh, I wonder what Sara would think about that”, ah, “I should talk to Caro about this”, and “I wish Eva would see this! And Bea, and Ulrike, and Charlot…
