Crème de la Crème

The day after, I had flown to London to meet with my husband. By noon I was with him, in a beautiful hotel room, ordering Champagne and having a lively conversation. I looked at him and he was so charming and so entertaining and this was all so sophisticated and I liked it so much and I was so happy to be here and that this was my life.

Just the opposite of how I had felt the day before.

We’ve found the perfect ingredients for Doré’s formulas, but certainly not for how exactly I should support the brand. I love the brand, I wear the brand, I know it’s one of the best on the market, but I am just quite mediocre at selling it. 

I’ve had the toughest time transitioning into a founder.

I see all the founders around me, from Dianna Cohen from Crown Affair to Gucci Westman with Atelier Westman to Tracy Ellis Ross with Pattern, and so many others—I admire everything they do without reserve because it is SO hard to find your voice. 

Me, I’m trapped in my fears. Fear of not being adequate, fear of…
