You favorite writer had landed in her favorite place in the world.

She was wearing all whites and creams as she walked down the tarmac. Black sunglasses. The sun was shining and the breeze was mellow.

It could have been perfect. One of these arrivals that set the tone for the summer.

But truly she was fuming.

Brows furrowed, jaw clenched, shoulders tense like Anna Wintour at a Balenciaga show.

She was silent, upset, bitter. Everyone around her was nice and happy but the best she could do was being polite.
