“We just have to be patient” my mother said.

Last week I was sitting with Graham having a glass of wine. (Ah, I just had him read over this text and he said, "Did you mean a bottle?”). We’re lucky. We have each other, we have a view, we have wine. It doesn’t mean that we’re not both a bit like : “Whaaat?”

We love having deep conversations on the deck.

We sit, we drink, we talk, sometimes we debate, bicker and disagree. Because he is Scottish and I am Corsican there is nothing more we like than fuming, laughing and ranting. Sometimes I actually get mad. I don’t know if he realizes I am. He must think I’m only pretending. But I’m not : I am actually mad. Oh, what a dream of a woman I am.

That evening he was being philosophical about the lockdown, and I was getting edgy :

“The problem is that none of this makes any SENSE! No sense at all!!!”
