Setting

Garance (hello!) is in bed in the gorgeous (but rainy) English countryside and her sister, Laetitia, is miles away, on the beautiful and verdant island of Corsica. She is also in bed. Garance is wearing an old pair of sweatpants, and Laetitia is probably wearing a chic vintage linen night gown—because that’s just who she is. 

Garance:

“Look. We’re apart, and I am realising that England is just not as close to Corsica as I wanted it to be. Your kids are grown-ups, they’re leaving home. I just realised I am an actor’s wife, the man is never home, I’m freaking out. We need to do something about this. Let’s do something about this. Maybe we need a project. A thing. Projects bring people together.”

Laetitia:

“True. But I hate talking about these things on the phone. How about I come see you and we make a plan?”

Garance

“A plan? OMG yes. Come.”
