I always get overexcited when I write Notes and what was supposed to be a quick, 300-word-max snapshot of my life becomes a three-part novel. Then I’m overwhelmed and disappear for months—which is stupid, because I miss you!
SO. In the spirit of summer, of ease, and of just being real, I’ve decided to give myself the job of posting one outfit a week… and telling you a few things about it.
Let’s start with this:
This is me, hi, in Mallorca, wearing an old Zara dress that I loved but never wore before, with an Hermès Picotin bag (borrowed from my sister/never returning), and a pair of Alaïa flats—which are very expensive when you think about what they’re made of, but worth every penny for the comfort and the airiness of feet. My glasses are Massimo Dutti men’s—I just got them and I LOVE them. Oh, and my earrings are my new all-time favorites, even more with my new bob, from Monica Vinader.
Here’s what I felt wearing this outfit:
1
FEMININE, YAY!!!
I’ve had a recent crisis of “am I just too tomboy?” and I’m trying to reverse it. I’m forcing myself into dresses. It’s making me want to go back to the gym, ahem.
2
Cute—but not the best shape for me.
I’m apple-shaped (should I do a whole series on this? It’s SO hard to dress!) and, because I’ve got boobs, anything without a waist balloons and when you see me on profile you’d think I’m about to take off. But if it works for you, these types of dresses are great, so clean and easy for the summer.
3
Happy and light.
Even if it’s not “ideal,” it’s a step in the right direction. I think getting out of a style rut means embracing hits and misses—and dressing more like how you feel inside.
Okay, I did it!!! Short and easy, a real Note! See you next week! Have a fantastic weekend. Love you!
Here is a little selection I made myself because I still don’t have someone to help me (but if you’re in Paris, love fashion and are very motivated to work with a very disorganized person like me, do email!) with all the things I talk about plus a few more at different prices points, because I’m a high-low person. Like super high, super low!

My last Letter was about finding what’s truly important in life—and putting the learnings into action.
My last Note was about Mother’s Day and the sometimes complicated feelings that can bubble up—no matter if you’re a mother or not. Notes will come back soon!
If you want to read more about what I’ve written about motherhood throughout the (almost!!!) 5 years of this wonderful community, follow the link here.
In our last Live, we talked about UTI, doctors, plastic surgeries and, as always, so much more!
Let’s meet again on Monday, June 23rd, at the usual 6pm Paris time. I can’t wait to see you!
If you have any questions or topics you’d like to talk about, you can always message me here.

Doré is still THE BEST coolest effortless French skincare line (and not just because I created it!)
Big kisses and have a fantastic day!!!
Oh I love these glasses too! Nice shape 👌🏻 Bag & shoes not so much my thing (thank God - I saw the price, haha ;)), but very nice all together. I used to wear short dresses all the time, but that was probably 10-15 years ago. Somehow I don't feel so comfortable in it anymore. Too girly for me?? I just often feel too old for them (is that strange?). Also, my legs need some toning first! p.s. I'd like to see more of your sister's style too! (I saw your story) :))
I'm apple-shaped, notably with the boobs. A girl at the gym asked me about my waist a while back, and I jokingly replied, "What waist? I don't have one!" Other girls often describe me as high-waisted—are they just being polite? On the bright side, I have long legs and find that short dresses and skirts suit me best. However, when I gain a few extra pounds, I feel shorts don't fit me quite right. I’d love to dive deeper into a session about this body type, Garance.
