My wardrobe is basically made up of essentials, and I am often asked about where I find them, so I wanted to share some of them with you. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to categorise them.
By season would have made this too long and by type too boring, so I decided to start this way, and we can build up from here. Don't be shocked at how often I wear the same things, nor how long I've worn them for...
Wearing my clothes a lot and for a long time is my basic wardrobe philosophy :)
Tee.
I have a whole collection because I need more than one, but my favourite right now is the Arket men's one. It's quite thick, so it doesn't crease, and it prevents visible bras, or (le nightmare!) visible nipple.
Jeans.
I have come to like a higher waist + straight leg, perfectly cropped at the ankle, and it's been hard to find. Levi's 501 are great but a bit uncomfortable. I finally found a great one with a tiny bit of stretch, and it's from Cos.
Trench.
This one, from Co (not Cos), is an investment, but I've worn it so much that I can say it's super worth it. It has ample shoulders and is quite long. The fabric holds itself well and will make you instantly cool.
Bag.
This one from Cos has an adjustable strap, so you can wear it shoulder or messenger style, which I do most of the time because I love being hands-free. I've seen better leathers, but not with such practicality!
Loafers.
Westons are my favourite. Their leather is better than any other loafer brand I have tried, and they're incredibly comfortable, with or without socks. If you can, try them on in-store for perfect sizing!
Hat.
I keep it in my bag and take it out the second the sun starts shining bright. I find hats anywhere, but this one's my current favorite!
Voilà! I have many other things to share, such as accessories, and many other types of outfits, but I am happy we have started with this!
Buy wisely and wear the sh%$t out if your clothes!
