There are a few issues I had which, I am quite proud say, I have overcome.

Big or small, each of them was life changing for me.
So, because my favorite thing in the world is to give unsolicited advice, I am going to share them with you.

My red skin.

My skin used to get so red.

I used to think:
“How does one fix this bad skin?”
Instead of:
“Something is causing my skin to be red!”

So I reached out to a few beauty experts.
One of them asked me what day cream I was using. At that time Doré had a beauty closet the size of an apartment and I was using a very expensive cream, one full of promises and active ingredients and a waiting list and all the marketing hoopla you can imagine.

She told me “Too many active ingredients in your cream. You’re exhausting your skin.”

Gah. I thought I was doing a great job treating my skin that way! I knew so little about beauty at the time. I dropped my supercharged superexpensive superposh lotion, went to an organic shop and bought the simplest hydrating lotion ever.
