It's always a real pleasure to read you. It's amazing how your prose needs no pictures sometimes. Looking forward for the next book!! Hugs from Lima!

I felt the same way about children...I tried to have them but was more scared, then I wanted them....

Hi Garance, I’ve been here since the beginning & this is my very first live- live : ) The alert popped up & I am in Europe right now, so the stars aligned! So happy to be here!

By the way, your skin is already beautiful so I’m not sure how much HRT could make it look better 😘

Happy to hear that you'll be doing the house yourself. It's such a pleasure. It takes time. You have a brilliant eye, great taste, it will be the most fun dynamic canvas. You know this, but let it take time. Have it be a story of you...All I'm saying is that it takes time.

Buy the cheesy chair, damn it! YOU have to LOVE it!

I can be pretty judgemental. My mom and grandmother were queens of judgement. So it's something I'm working on dismantling. Being the judge and knowing you will be judged go hand in hand. grh.

I haven’t been able to join in person yet but always listen to the replay. Great conversation! I loved when I heard you say you’re realizing if you had wanted to have children you would have found a way. Yes - now that I’m in my 50s I can look back and see how so much of my life is not chance but my choices. I think we often think things just happen to us but it becomes much clearer as we get older. I did have children but had to give up an artistic career in order to raise them the way I wanted. (I also lost their dad to cancer when they were young so then the choices were of necessity). Sometimes I look back and wonder what if, but know that I made the choice that was right for me.

I also love your goal to be fearless with your new house and would love to hear you talk about real estate!!😀❤️

I read Mists of Avalon for the first time 2 years ago. It was amazing.

I loved it as a teenager. Absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it seems the author was pretty horrible to her own daughter.

I know I remember reading that, she not being the kindest person.
