Winter has just begun in the Polish countryside. It is wonderful, snowy and cold. I got up this morning with Zen (that's my dog) and went for a walk. Zen loves winter and every now and then he rolls in the snowdrifts. I love the countryside, even though I actually live 6km from the city centre. The countryside is like a drug, it can become addictive. Walks in the fields in the morning, walks in the fields in the evening, meanwhile in winter we light the fireplace and sip whisky. Could there be anything better. Warm greetings!
Love your posts and your skincare. I’m a Brit living in USA. The older I get the less I worry about cliches. If it makes you feel good, go for it. You do you!! I have a Barbour raincoat, practicle and fun. Also a vintage Burberry and I wear both with pride.
My just husband pulled out his Barbour this morning for these somewhat cooler Southern California mornings.
I’ve resorted to cotton sweaters because it just doesn’t get cold enough for wool here. Luckily so far Part 1 of The Crown this season doesn’t take place too much in Scotland otherwise I’d been going crazy for a proper knit!
Agh! I live in NEW England (for 25 years now) and am JUST coming to terms with the fact that I need multiple pairs of waterproof shoes for all seasons, even summer. At least you have embraced it all quickly! Signed, a girl from the South who used to wear cute shoes all year round...
I have a confession to make: I adore my Sailor Kammpants. Considering that I live in San Diego, California, I guess I'm living up to the stereotype? Regardless, the next time the hubby and I are up in Scotland, the motto has always been: long live Barbour and Sperry. <3
I love the elegance you bring to everything you share @garancedore
