Yesterday, I went to a black tie banquet in Scotland, and I was wearing the tiniest dress. Barely black tie, if I say so myself. On the edge of chic. This wasn’t my plan.
You look marvelous! Also..why not just put a little oil in your hair and let is dry naturally with all of it's wavy curly charm? Why do we women with wild hair always want to tame it! Free the hair!
I think you look very elegant and you have beautiful legs. I say enjoy showing your legs and arms because sooner or later you won't want to. I used to love my arms and my legs but now I am happier covered. It is really difficult to find elegant dresses with sleeves and knee length without looking frumpy or like you're wearing a nightgown. Pay attention designers out there.
I hear you. No matter how AMAZEBALLS we may look when dressed in a certain way [as proved by toi in this pic], the element of Mental Comfort has to be there. I want to feel like me, you know? Similarly, I have found that as I hit mid-age [yuk], as I am only a touch younger than you at 47, I have started to try "a different me". I used to be always in dresses and these days I am doing trousers a lot. Deep down though, I feel like I am in a vague state of mourning because I look at myself and things don't fit as they used to and everything seems not quite as it was. Because in actual fact... it isn't.
Dress your essence is the only way to authenticity and to go about feeling and being in your zone. Oui to a” little ‘stage dressing” , just to take notes. ☺️
Amazing legs !!
Wow! You had a breakthrough with that dress. You wore it well and I'm sure you turned quite a few heads!
