I’ve been so good recently focusing on everything else than fashion—things like rearranging my whole life (and launching a GREAT serum!)—that I have to admit it: I am slightly behind when it comes to trends. Add to that my disastrous haircut, and the very strange fact that fashion week starts next week in Paris and that I’ll be around (not going to shows. As I humbly admitted last week, it might be too much for my still fragile soul, but to a couple of dinners and presentations I might), and I wouldn’t say I’m the most confident stylistically right this second.
This is why I am sticking to my basics. Soft, enveloping, protecting sweaters, a couple of comfortable black pants, and a few accessories.

It will be a perfect passport into spring.
I’ve learnt a few things, when it comes to sweaters.
1/ It’s always better not to buy enormous wool sweaters, as tempting as they are. I’ve done the mistake so many times. Indoors, they’re too hot, outdoors, they don’t fit under a coat, and they look huge from the distance, even more if, like me, you have a slight obsession with white.
2/ If you have les boobs, the cut is extremely important to not make you look like you’re a balloon ascending in the skies. Raglan cut is best (even though they’re harder to find), and crew necks always win over V necks, for some inexplicable reason.
I just think it looks cooler. And cool can’t be explained.

3/ If you, like me, don’t like wearing anything under your sweater, it’s a good thing to accessorize.
Simplicity is a hard balance to find—but it can be so comforting…
I’ve put together a little shopping list with some of my favorite sweaters, right here!

My last letter was a Catch Up format where I basically talked a lot about getting older. Which is… Very different than I thought it would be!
In my last Note, I asked my friends to share their favorite red lipstick.
This is the link to our last live, which was about friendship.
We’re meeting again tomorrow, Thursday the 27th, at 6pm Paris time. Here is to check your time zone and here is to know how our lives work. I can’t wait to see you!
We launched a fantastic serum! It took four years to make it, and it’s absolutely perfect.
Have a fantastic day and big kisses!!!
Raglan sleeves are everything and I wish more sweaters (and sweatshirts and T-shirts!) were made with them. They allow for a better range of motion and I find they fit under jackets so much better. And yes to crewnecks too!
This winter I bought a light cashmere crew neck from Aritzia, that I wear all the time. The price was very reasonable and I am really happy with the quality and the fit. I went up a size. The colors are limited. I think bulky knits are fun but they just don't flatter me. They make me look "bulky". I have donated them all to my 30 year old daughter and she looks great in them.
