Preach! I first had to look up who Emma Chamberlain was 🤣 and would not be caught dead in anything she had on. If wearing invisible socks makes me look Gen X, well, I am Gen X. A sock hitting mid-calf was unattractive the first time we did it in the 90s.
Oh Garance, am I the only one who loves a good V neck cashmere sweater directly on my skin? I can (and actually want to) wear visible socks with sneakers but a V neck on bare skin feels so decadent and would not give it up! It even feels naughty as I tought sweaters over t-shirts is quite common but now you make me wonder
Have you been to David Mallett for a haircut? He’s terrific and I’ve been getting my wavy, frizz prone hair cut by him whenever I’ve been in Paris. Everyone at the salon is super nice and chill and talented if David isn’t available.
Love the proportions - length of trouser with heels, also antique white colour and cable texture of sweater over crisp white tee. Very finessed : dressing up in the same way as the style of writing the commentary - with flourish and flair, humour and honesty. Entertaining and relatable.
